WARNING: I'm Drunk

It would be incredibly sad if I didn't take the time to talk about the untimely death of one of the most influential individuals in modern pop culture: Michael Jackson.

To me, it feels like what it must have felt when my parents heard Elvis had died. Untimely. Undeserved. And most of all, unappreciated.

Say what you will about MJ, the man was a genius. Despite the rumors and controversy that followed him for most of his life, he shed that and became one of, if not the, most influential pop stars to ever walk the face of this earth.

I hope that the people who read this blog will choose to remember him as the great man he was rather than the man the tabloids painted him as.

We have lost someone truly unique and special.

R.I.P.
